Read Our Suits Me Card Review
This Suits Me card review will hopefully provide you with enough information to decide if this alternative to a traditional UK bank current account is going to provide you with the services that you require. For instance, you can set up direct debits and standing orders, have monies paid into the account and use a Visa debit card.
Who can apply to open a Suits Me card account?
You will be pleased to hear from this Suits Me card review that you can open a Suits Me account as long as you have an address in the UK and are 18 years of age or over.
So, for instance, if you are employed, self employed or retired then you should be able to open an account. You can even open a current account if you have a poor credit rating such as being bankrupt as no credit check is carried out.
You complete an application form online and it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to open a Suits Me card account. You will only need to provide one form of identification with that being either a passport, national ID card or UK driving license.
Our Suits Me card review revealed that you will be provided with an account number and sort code instantly and have immediate access to online banking. You should receive your contactless Visa debit card within 3 to 5 working days.

What does the Suits Me card account provide?
This section of our Suits Me card review provides you with information about some of the features and benefits of the Suits Me account.
You can have your salary, wages, benefits or pension paid directly into your current account with Suits Me. You can also have monies paid in by family and friends by International bank transfer up to a maximum of £7,500 per transaction and by UK bank transfer. You can pay cash into your account through PayPoint up to a maximum of £249 per day. Your current account balance must not exceed £10,000. However, please bear in mind that our review of the Suits Me card found that it is not possible to pay in cheques although, considering that there are not as many cheques issued these days by people and businesses this is not too much of an issue.
Our Suits Me card review revealed that you can use the contactless Visa debit card to withdraw cash at ATMs both in the UK and overseas. You can also use the card to purchase goods and services online or in high street retail outlets both in the UK and worldwide.
You can link your Suits Me Visa debit card with your Google Pay account and/or Samsung Pay account but you cannot do this with Apple Pay.
You can set up direct debits and standing orders to pay regular bills such as your mortgage, rent, council tax, utility bills, car and home insurance and life assurance.
Our Suits Me card review found that you can set up one or more envelopes with your Suits Me e-money current account into which you can set aside funds on a regular basis to cover certain things such as holidays, Christmas expenditure or to save to buy a car. When you need the money, you just release the funds from the envelope and it becomes available to use. You do not earn any interest.
As well as accessing your Suits Me account online via their website, our Suits Me card review found that you can set up the Suits Me mobile banking app. This will enable you to, for instance, check the balance of your account, set up standing orders, monitor your direct debits, check what transactions have come out of your account and block your card.
When you use your Suits Me Visa debit card at certain retail outlets either in the high street, over the phone or online, our review of the Suits Me card discovered that you will receive a cashback reward into your current account the following month.
You do not get an overdraft facility with the Suits Me account.
There are a number of other companies that provide some of the above features and benefits such as the Cashplus Personal current account.
